Common thread-killers

• A sentence that spills over and gets truncated mid-word
• Links eating up characters you didn't budget for
• Hashtags stacked at the end pushing real content out of the limit

Draft outside the platform first

Write your thread in a plain text editor, pasting each post into a character counter as you go. This lets you catch overflow before you're fighting with the platform's own composer, and it gives you a clean backup copy of the thread in case you want to repurpose it later.
